ALABAMA VENDORS:

*** Alabama Vendors:  Per the City of Birmingham, non -food vendors do not have to purchase a vendor license, you are allowed to exhibit and sell under the event organizer license. ****



** Each vendor is required to track and pay their sales tax at the end of the event, which will be forwarded to: 


City of Birmingham

Sales Tax for Birmingham is 4%

Vendors are allowed to sell Pre-Packaged food, under the event organizer license, per Birmingham City. 



OHIO VENDORS

Ohio Vendors: Must have vendors license if you are selling taxable items, contact the Ohio Department of Taxation.


Ohio Vendors: Contact the Ohio Department of Taxation for a list of items that require the collection of sales tax, each vendor is responsible for collecting and forwarding the sales tax due.



Carol's Trunk Show is not responsible for the tracking of and/or payment of sales tax for each vendor. Vendors are responsible for tracking their own sales and forwarding the sales tax due. 




FOOD VENDORS



FOOD VENDORS: Food vendors need the following: 


Current Food Handler's Permit, City/or County License, Health Department Permit, Fire Department Clearance, or a temporary permit that allows vending food privileges for 24 hours and Insurance.

 

 Check with your local City ordinances for the requirements. Failure to obtain permits, and display on the truck will result in fines, and the Food Truck Business will be responsible. 

 

Birmingham, AL - Vendors are allowed to sell Pre-packaged food, under the event organizer license, per Birmingham City.


STATE OF WASHINGTON VENDORS

1. Must have a Business License from the State, and obtain your UBI# ( Unified Business Identifier). Contact Washington State Department of Revenue for information. 


2. Vendors are responsible for tax reporting on sales. 

   Vendor Loyalty 

Starting Jan 1st, 2022 enjoy $10.00 off each time you exhibit at the next scheduled event. 

 

Our way of saying thank you for returning back to exhibit at our events.

 

How it works:

 

1. When you exhibit at the event, and you attend the next scheduled date, you will receive $10.00 off the vendor fee.

 

This does not apply if you attend one show, skip

a few shows, and return back.

 

The purpose of the discount is to allow vendors who consecutively exhibit, to enjoy the $10.00 off.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR A VENDOR SPACE

1.Read over ALL the following information before applying.

5.After your application is reviewed, you will receive a response back with an invoice, and you can proceed then to make a payment to secure your space.


6. After you receive the invoice, payments must be made to secure your spot. We do not hold vendor spaces. Failure to make a payment will result in losing your space.

Event Reminders:

 

1. We can't guarantee or predict how many people will attend the craft show events.

2. We use all online methods in marketing and run paid advertisement.

3. We can't guarantee vendors will make sales.

 

 

We provide a reserved venue for you to sell your products or services. 

 

We are a traveling Craft Show, hosting events in various Cities. 

 

We ask that all participants who attend the shows help spread the word.

 

Small businesses have the hardest time gaining exposure, with the help of the vendors spreading the word, this will help increase awareness of the shows.

 

 

The event is not responsible if your expectations is not met with what (We can't guarantee). 

 

We are looking for a variety of vendors, all submissions may not be approved. We will limit the number of vendors with duplicate products.

 

Returning vendors will be given priority, this is not a guarantee, because we may have a vendor booked with similar services. 

 

OUTDOOR EVENTS:

 

 

Outdoor vendor events:  ( Does not include tents, tables, chairs, or decorations ) - vendors bring their own.

 

 

No electricity provided for outdoor events.

 

 

*** IF YOU USE A POP UP TENT - TENT WEIGHTS OR SAND BAGS ARE REQUIRED TO SECURE TENT TO THE GROUND ***

 

DAMAGES TO LAWN/GRASS/LANDSCAPING OR NOT PROPERLY SECURING TENT AS NOTED WILL BE VENDORS RESPONSIBILITY. 

 

  

( MUST USE SANDBAGS OR WEIGHTS, NO DIGGING IN THE GRASS ) 

 

 

If you bring a pop-up tent with wording displayed, we ask that the tents have positive word art if it's anything other than your business name. 

 

 

 

RAIN OR SHINE EVENTS: 

 

IN CASE OF SEVERE WEATHER, IF THE VENUE ASK US TO POSTPONE OUR EVENT, WE WILL CHOOSE A NEW DATE, AND YOUR FEE WILL APPLY TO THE NEXT DATE.  

 

 

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE NEW DATE, YOU MAY FIND A REPLACEMENT UPON MANAGEMENT APPROVAL.   

 

 

( NO REFUNDS ON POSTPONE SHOWS )  

 

 

INDOOR EVENTS:

 

1. Some venues may not have enough rectangular tables for our vendors, so be prepared you may have to bring your own table and chairs.

 

2. Having a spot near electricity is not guaranteed.

 

3. Free Wi-Fi (depends on facility)

 

 

EVENT DAY PHOTOS

Effective immediately as of 10-30-2021, vendors who leave the event without notifying the event manager, will not be listed as a participating vendor on the website or social media. 

 

Vendors if you attend our events, we ask that you stay for the duration of the show as stated in our vendor rules. We understand emergencies may arise, if you need to leave early, as a courtesy let the event manager know. Failure to notify the event manager may prevent you from returning to our events. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PAYMENT INFORMATION

We will not accept payments the day of the event.


Spaces must be paid in advance to secure your spot.


We do not hold vendor spaces.


** 2 weeks before the event, no checks will be accepted due to the processing time. *******


Bounced check $35 for non-sufficient funds.


We now offer Afterpay – 4 interest-free installments. $5 Service charge included when using this service.



e-Gift cards are available for vendor spaces, gift a business owner of your choice a card now.

Event vendor fees may change, always check before applying. 


NO REFUND POLICY REVISED

No refund on vendor spaces, by completing the paperwork, you agree that if you are unable to attend, the fees will NOT be refunded.

 

 

Refunds are only issued if the show is canceled 

 

 

*** In the event of a natural disaster or emergency the show may be postponed for a later date, if this happens, no refunds will be issued, If you are unable to attend the new date, you may contact the event manager and discuss a replacement, or you will lose your space. ***

Change of venue or date: We reserve the right to change venue location or move the event date. No refunds allowed. We will apply your fees to the next date. If you can't attend the new date, please contact management for a substitute. 

 

 

No show - No refunds if you signed up, and do not show for the event. 

 

 

Vendors please continue to send your information to join our vendor contact list. If a vendor cancel, this will give you a chance to be selected.
